Had a meal there on Saturday with the wife, just passing through after doing the camel trail in padstow, A hidden little gem with excellent food in a lovely setting with lots of local fish on the menu, if your ever in north cornwell it's a must. Hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the beer garden. Pre book as it gets busy....
We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the Bodmin & Wenford steam railway; it felt a bit like a magical mystery tour however the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. Excellent food & service. I had the mussels, my husband had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous!) pork chop, my daughter ham, egg & chips and my son the steak & chips. Everyone was delighted which I think may be a first!! Highly recommend.

I really loved the cauliflower and aubergine curry yesterday complete with lentil dahl, flatbread and rice. I'm just so grateful to be able to order a curry that doesn't contain coconut or coconut milk. The taste was delicious.
We are rarely disappointed by the food here. I also appreciate the fact that we can order an alternative to chips when they are on the menu with a dish. I can als recommend the toad in the hole.
Sunday lunches are good though, not surprisingly it does get busy at the weekend.
